I think that Rove, the so called “magnificent bxxxxxd”, led him to that view. What a tragic mistake.

I disagree. It's Bush experience in Texas and his brother's marriage to his mexican wife that causes Bush to be so enamored of mexicans. Or, his first "experience" was with a mexican maid.

You may be correct. Bush maybe came to this view by his lonesome but Rove is the numero one cheerleader. Some of the most insulting rhetoric comes from him.

I do believe it's all personal. He feels more obligation to Mexicans than to Americans, and thinks he can make a "gift" of America to soothe his anguished nobless oblige--and, who knows, his droit de seigneur/
