“His personal life means nothing to me. What matters is public policy. And when it comes to public policy, it is hard to imagine a more liberal record than the one possessed by Mitt Romney.”

Personal life is very often a very good indicator of what a person will do in office. As I said Mitt Romney may not pass the smell test on every conservative issue but the records of Guliani and McCain are way more liberal.

Guliani: Pro-abortion, gun-control, pro-gay marriage and a messed up personal life

McCain: McCain-Fiengold Campaign Reform and the disastrous shamnesty bill.

I would even say Bush has been a huge disappointment with the immigration bill and out of control spending.

Romney is by no means the perfect candidate but of the current crop until Fred Thompson makes it official, Romney is our best candidate that is electable nationally.

Wrong. He’s not electable at all. His nomination would fracture the Republican coalition.

I, for one, will NEVER cast a vote for him, and I will urge as many voters as possible to do the same.

Jimmy Carter.

Or, if you prefer, John Edwards, the Democrat counterpart to Mitt, a walking, talking, say anything to get elected, one-term flipped-political-philosophies-to-run-for-prez head of hair.

This is certainly true, but don’t try telling EV.
