No. Fred Thompson is Christian (Church of Christ).
Mormons are harmless, check your facts.
And besides....
Everybody knows its the Masons that want to take over the
world so they can make us all wear those funny fezz hats
and drive those little cars like they do in the Halloween parades.
That wasn’t the degenerate’s Bible. It belong to Betty Currie and he borrowed it for the photo op. You can bet that the Lady took it home with her ... I just hope she had it fumigated and exocised before touching it again after the degenerate one carried it.
What’s wrong with adding a letter to Carter’s title: The Moron President?
Sign up today just to post this? Are you part of the “Evangelicals for Mitt” group of six?
Better than a Moron president.
Jimmah Snotter can’t run again ...
Why not? He's only served one term. Maybe he can get Michael Moore to be his running mate. They seemed to hit it off at the DNC convention for Kerry.
Snotter is too senile to make it through the primaries now ...
Yeah, but he’s just about senile enough to try. And, it would sure cause a stir in DUville.
This is what the MSM and “leftist” special interest groups will eventually label Mitt as if he’s the final GOP Presidential nominee. They will make signs spelling out MORMON with a line over the last M. Also, Mitt will truly need a solid majority of the conservative voters base to be more than willing to vote for Mitt on November 4, 2008, and I don’t see this really happening for a variety of reasons. Many people have problems with Mitt on social issues while many others have problems with Mitt because he’s a Mormon. Others have problems with Mitt coming from the northeast where most Republicans in general are more “leftist” than Republicans in most of the remainder of the U.S. (with exceptions with most Republicans in U.S. cities and many Republicans on the west coast states also being more “leftist”).
It might make great theater don’tchaknow!
We've heard all this before except the last time it was "A CATHOLIC PRESIDENT?".
In 1960 my mother, God rest her soul, was conflicted beyond belief at the prospect of voting for John Kennedy ( a catholic who would be controlled by the Pope) or Richard Nixon a (gasp) republican!
What difference does the man's religion make? We are electing a president not a church leader.
Would you vote for Anton LaVey?
I have no idea who Anton LaVey is nor a thing about his political philosophy. How could I vote for such a person?
You said: "What difference does the man's religion make?", so I selected Mr. LaVey as a theoretical candidate.
Let's say old Anton is a perfect conservative in every way, save his funky religious beliefs.
Would you vote for him as President of the United States?
(Anton LaVey - author of The Satanic Bible, founder and High Priest of the Church of Satan.)
No. Since I would find his authorship of such a work, and leadership position in such an organization, compelling evidence that the was not what he otherwise claimed to be. I would base my vote against him on the trail of deeds that such a person would have undoubtedly left behind him and not on any religious test however.
Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus
The film maker, the article stated, is a member of “The Revised Church of Latter Day Saints”. It is my understanding that this is not the same church as the regular LDS Church. I find the timing of his film uncoincedental and a veiled attack on Mitt Romney’s candidacy.
