I've heard this sentiment expressed many times but I still don't follow the logic.

Do you think there will be armies of Islamists coming ashore in America if we leave Iraq? Do you think it will be easier for Islamists to come across our open borders if we leave Iraq than it is now? It only took a 19 terrorists to commit the worst attack ever on American soil. Do you believe that, out of the millions of Islamic terrorists, there will be less of a problem finding a sufficient number to attack Americans if we leave Iraq?

There are huge numbers of Islamic terrorists that would love to attack the U.S., very few of them are fighting in Iraq. I really can't see what would change that much as far as terrorist ability to attack America if we leave Iraq. There will be consequences in the ME for sure, but I don't see the logic behind the "better fighting them over there than here" argument.
