True, of course. But ABC would never allow Ann Coulter on that show. Elisabeth Hasselbeck was a token Conservative. There's nothing 'token' about Ann. And there's no way that ABC (or NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc) would ever allow Ann the opportunity to go one-on-one with their picked socialists, in an on-going environment.
The point is, it's easy to put these people in their place because they expect Conservatives to play nice. Once the opportunity to respond is taken, that's it. And the proof is, that even such a light hitter such as Elisabeth can do it to a loud-mouthed socialist pig such as Rosie.
Rosie felt empowered by her run-ins with Donald Trump because he was a man. Her life evolves around taking on men (well, beyond her obvious political bent). But taking on the likes of Elisabeth, who's young and comes across like a nice person, and who has pretty much rolled over on the show, is another story. I don't think she expected Elisabeth's backtalk, nor do I think she knew how to respond. And once the jig was up, that was it for her, and the show.
Now we have the spectacle of her staff trashing her office and drawing mustaches on Elisabeth's pictures. Such low-life behavior shows just how crass and worthless these people are.
I don't know the name of that redhead on the show, but it would be fantastic should Elisabeth take her on next. I wonder whether that redhead learned anything from this. I doubt it, but that would be interesting.
The parallels with the 'toons leaving the Whitehouse are eerie: stealing "W" keys off keyboards, jamming file cabinets, and assorted other vandalism. Identical behavior.
