Either that or it's WISHFUL THINKING:
Brainwashing by the NEA having short-term effects. Wait ‘till they turn 30, expect to earn a decent income and discover that:
a) Government jobs don’t pay squat.
b) Businesses are only looking for people with real skills
c) If they are making some decent income, the government is confiscating way too much of it, or
d) All of the above.

I'm sure the Seattle Grunge Generation 2.0 with facial tatoos, blue hair, enough metal in their face to fill a 10 gauge shotgun shell, and a variety of bad drug habits -- are all Democrats.
If they remember to vote (or the Donkey machine does it for them, as is a Seattle tradition) then they will continue to be part of the neo-socialist coalition imposing illegitimate governance of Washington from King County /Seattle.
None of this is representative of anything larger, in my opinion, however.
Fascinating layer upon layer of deception.
They vote more dem than any other gen currently voting [This has always been true] but they fail to demonstrate that they are doing this more than say the 60s generation at that time.
There probably has been an uptick for dems in this group but they have lost a lot in that category during the last 20 years. This age group revered Reagan as a hero. This is highly problematic for dem spinners.
Editorial bias?
Any time I read something like this I always think about that one NY reporter who said after Nixon’s landslide victory, “I don’t know anybody who voted for Nixon.”.
Only serves to demonstrate that this writer has the IQ of rock. Most kids associate with Dims and their fairy tale view of the world. As they mature, have to start paying taxes and have responsibilities (kids, mortgage, etc.) they grow up & wise up.
Funny story. My son who is 28 was talking to my neighbor, George, about how Bush is a fool, yadda yadda yadda, all the usual liberal gibberish. He had only recently met George and since he is a 50 year old guy in shorts and barefoot all the time (it’s Arizona) with white hair and looking like Dr. Emmit Brown from “Back to the future”....He ASSUMED George is a lib. Man, did he get an earful! LOL! Me, I never assume someones politics by appearance. At times it might surprise you.
That's only part of it.
George Bush is an embarrassment. His gaffes and verbal buffoonery haven't gone unnoticed.
If a young person is looking for a political party to latch on to, would they seriously consider the party headed by a guy that comes off sounding like an idiot?
Reagan had the opposite effect. He even managed to turn my 50 year old dad and long-time Democrat into a Republican.
Reagan knew the value of inspiring, direct and clear communication. He had charisma and confidence.
Bush is no Reagan. He's the GOP's Carter, only less articulate!
Let me guess, they live in their parents basement?
There has ALWAYS been this claim floating around, that young folk vote a Democratican ticket.
Mostly to stick a finger in their parent’s eye, more than from any conviction.
But about the third or forth time they actually get around to voting, they begin to see the wisdom of staying away from too much “innovation”.
Since when has Pew been non-partisan. It is a far-left, progressive think tank.
“the prestigious, nonpartisan Pew Research Center”
And I’m the king of England.
Pew is the Marxist propaganda organ for the rat party. Pew was behind the criminal campaign finance fiasco.
John Fund at the wall street journal has it all documented here -
