Feinstein’s office asssured me the same thing. I am so pissed I can barely speak. On the pro-amnesty hotline I got right thru after first hearing a busy signal.
There is no way in Hades they can convince me that is not a direct line in.

The lady who took my call asked if she could give the senator a message and I think I might have sworn in it.
“*gibberish gibberish* Enforce the damn laws! *gibberish* Crap that comes out of Washington. *gibberish*”
