Well, if there is, I sure don't know any here in Illinois, or anywhere else I travel who think that way.
Maybe I'm just not hanging out with those people. I think most folks just think of us as Americans.
When I visit the battle fields, I am so greatly saddened that this country could have ever come to the point of arms. People who've studied history understand why the South rebelled. Though I wish it had never happened, I respect their guts in standing up for states' rights.
We're Americans. I love this country. God bless and protect us from all that is trying to invade and/or attack our culture, liberties and way of life.

We would be much better off if your sentiments prevailed. In California I sometimes hear anti-southern bigotry, often by people who have very shallow roots in this country. It’s odd because it seems to come from nowhere. I ask and most of them have never been to the south. I think they get their bigotry from what they see in movies.
Well said! I am saddened, too, that Americans resorted to killing each other. Such a tragedy.
