Also note that this EcoLED product produces clean, bright white light, not the typical yellowish light produced by incandescent bulbs. Most people agree that our white lights offer far better visibility and clarity than common yellowish light bulbs People like yellowish light for a reason. It's not perceived to be as "harsh". That said, LED lights annoying effects can be partially mitigated by being mixed with other lights.
Don't LEDs still flicker with the cycle too?

NOt that I know of, Florecents definately flicker.

People like yellowish light for a reason. It's not perceived to be as "harsh". Actually, I think it probably has more to do with the solar spectrum, which is biased to the yellow-green.
Not coincidentally, our eyes work best in that region. I think "whiter" lights tend to be more toward the UV side and thus are perceived as brighter and, as you say, more "harsh."

Don't LEDs still flicker with the cycle too? No. They run on DC only. Incoming AC voltage must be converted to low voltage DC before the LED illuminates. No flicker there.
