No one ever said that ID requirements didn’t suppress voter turnout. Of course they do. They keep ineligibles from voting. But, of course, that’s the last thing the Dems want. They need the vote of the convict, the illegal alien and the dead to build a permanent majority.

I noticed that too. Maybe somewhere Republicans want anybody with or alleged to have a pulse to vote, but seems like it’s almost always Dems.

Good point. Really good point. Depressing the "turnout" is exactly why we do it. My recommend additional requirements:

1. Must own real property;
2. Must be able to read English;
3. Cannot have ever formed voting opinion from the League of Women Voters debates. If the prospective voter has, he/she is too stupid and uninformed to be allowed to decide my fate.
