He left out Fred Thomposon or even Newt Gingirch who engineered the Contract with America.

Newt has given in to Algore's "man-made" global warming.

Fred has yet to prove his conservative credentials, IMO.

But his isolationism is a bit extreme.

I don't endorse the writer, and agree with you about the isolationism. However, I think some of his points illustrate the problems the Republicans face right now.

HAS he?? How disappointing. I hope he doesn’t run. Don’t ANY of these guys have the courage of their convictions?

I thought he was a rock solid conservative? That’s the impression I got from posts here.

So there is no electable candidate you like? I have some doubts about Thompson, but he sounds better than Giuliani and McCain. I think we should give Thompson a look.
