Work on the Sussex is on hold until the Spanish government appoints marine archaeologists. Company statements lead me to conclude that this is another wreck. This company has a number of projects in the works. I don’t have time to respond to all the speculation on this site. Interested parties should consider the company’s press releases, as they are bound to a high level of integrity.

Good report, thanks. This suggests that “Black Swan” is a merchant ship, if a warship, then the owning government would have a claim. If Odyssey is successful with this, and with the Sussex recovery, the world of underwater archaeology and salvage will never be the same.
