“The public expects Members of Congress to speak their minds, but be informed in their opinions. I would ask for everyone to take time to understand how the bill works.”
It’s amnesty and we don’t want it.
Voters in SC need to show Goober the door.
I can call a turd a rosebud
doesn’t make it one
Here’s the facts Mr.Graham;your next election will be your last.Start looking for work in the private sector.
“President Bush made clear today he does not view it as amnesty and I agree with him.”
When our president become lexicographer-in-chief, then I’ll care what he defines as ‘amnesty’.
This guy is disgusting and looks gayer each day. He looks awful! And to think South Carolina used to be solid conservative and Dixiecrat. I’ll bet they re-elect this creepy guy
Lipstick...hog...still a pig.
I think it would be best if he just STFU.
Graham. Pretending to be a republican until help arrives from Mexico.
The only thing you need to sign Senator is a letter of resignation for not upholding your oath of office to protect and defend Americans from invading hordes.
Allow someone up to the job to replace you.
Thank you.
It's crystal clear. Get outta my Senate ya Big Dope!
The more they manipulate this AMNESTY the madder I get. The only good thing about them blabbing is it’s shows they’re getting a lot of angry calls. But I’m wearing a new shirt so I look tiddy when they stab me in the back.
If you repeat it often enough....perhaps some will start to believe it, you might even convince yourself, Lindsey
“Amnesty is a pardon and means all is forgiven. This legislation is not amnesty.”
Even McCain admits it’s an amnesty.
This is a little long-winded. Let me condense it.
Blah, blah, blah,...amnesty...blah.
Blah, blah, blah,...open borders...blah.
Blah, blah, blah,...BOHICA.....blah.
“Over the last few months, I have spoken with President Bush almost every week and met with him twice about immigration reform. Secretary Chertoff and Secretary Gutierrez have been there every step of the way. There would be no bill without their hard work.”
Yeah, treason can be very stressful..............
From Senator Lamar Alexander:
May 19th, 2007 - "I voted against the last immigration bill because it did not secure our borders. My main concern as I study this one is whether it secures our borders, establishes a verification system so employers can know who they are hiring and helps prospective citizens learn English and what it means to be an American."
Here is Senator Corker's release: Friday, May 18, 2007
WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) today made the following statement regarding immigration reform legislation proposed this week in the Senate: "On Monday, Senators are being asked to start voting on a complex immigration reform bill that most members have not had a chance to read or review. There is no doubt we need to secure America's borders and reform our broken immigration system, but this should not be done hastily by cramming through a largely unknown piece of legislation in a few days. "After reading several summaries of this bill, I have serious concerns and for that reason I will vote 'no' on proceeding to the bill on Monday. I hope in the near future the Senate will return to immigration reform in a framework where Senators will be given the time necessary for serious debate on an issue of this magnitude."
Sounds like Corker is with us. I can't tell about Lamar.
