Did you vote for the "New Tone" guy? I think we've all learned something about "getting along" over the last 13 years. The current president still hasn't learned. I'd like to hear Romney's position today. What a non-story.

It's just a nice throw-away line. Given all the vetoes he signed in Massachusetts, and how many times he bumped heads with the liberals, it is quite clear that he will not go along just to get along.

I agree. It was 13 years ago. The idea of working together sounded pretty good. It still sounds good to many people. But weve seen that Democrats dont want to work with Republicans, unless its a bill that Ted Kennedy would like. I suspect Romney is a little bit ahead of McCain and Bush in wising up.
