Yeah, a cat enclosed in a refrigerator would come out fat and sassy to say nothing of emptying your refrigerator. :-)
Oops! You bought a loaf of french bread, or for that matter, any dough-based pastry and forgot about it. Now it is so rock-hard that it could be used to drive nails or be put into the nose cone of an ICBM.
Not to worry. Dampen it under the kitchen faucet. Alternately, you could coat it with butter or margarine. I use the butter method.
Heat in oven. It comes out like fresh-baked.
I’ve done it and people swear I baked my own bread.
