Do you HONESTLY believe that they attacked us because we are free and have women's right's, as Giuliani stated ? I heard the Japanese attacked us because of Jazz music. Simply Absurd. It'll sell with the proles tho.

Actually, the Islamic radicals do hate our freedom because they associate those freedoms with the immoral messages and activities the people in this country export to their country via our music, our movies, our television shows and the like. They see it as a plague that if not destroyed will infect their country.

But as Buchannan warned some time ago the consequences of being in the middle east (but why must we be there, maybe it's a good reason, but why), and debate now whether they hate us for being there (again why are we there), or because of freedom and jazz music (Michael Savage had interesting things to say about this a while back), there are other possibilities besides those red herrings that could be looked at and I think the author of that article is looking at a likely one.
