LEFT LANE DRIVERS of AMERICA
If youre not a Left Lane Driver then get out of the Left Lane!
Traffic has become increasingly congested and tempers flare as slower drivers occupy what has been historically referred to as the fast lane. Its time to get that Left Lane back! It is our considered opinion that not only will traffic move more smoothly and more quickly once the Left Lane is used in the way it has been designed but also headaches, frustration, bad tempers and road rage will all be greatly reduced when this pressure valve is released. Its time to reduce this unnecessary stress. Its time that LEFT LANE DRIVERS UNITE!
We invite you to join Left Lane Drivers of America, a growing, grassroots effort to reclaim the Left Lanes on our freeways and multiple lane highways. To do this, those of us who are genuine Left Lane drivers are politely but firmly reminding others what the Left Lane is for.

Like “Slower Traffic Keep Right”?
Plenty of signs to that effect out there.
The essence of good transportation is speed. Always has been.
KUDO’s to your Hero son!!
Idiots like the woman you describe are the reason I have a really fast car. I like to think I’m being a good citizen by preventing them from having the opportunity to do something that would require that I shoot them repeatedly with a large caliber weapon.
I drive as fast as I can get away with...
And what I can get away with I usually do in the left lane.
Sorry that I can’t be more specific than that.
The problem is we don't have that many people who can read ...especially English...down here in S. Florida. :)
Same in Texas and probably 40% are drunk.
Thank you for your prayers and kind words.
That said, I agree with you on the problems created by those drivers, and others who think that the roads were created solely for their sake and act like all others should get off the road. With the amount of driving I’ve had to do over the past 10 plus years I’ve seem my share of accidents and near misses caused by inconsiderate people. I just try to stay out of everyone’s way and get to my destination in one piece.
Thank you Fawn. I’ll pass that along to him when he next makes contact (the timing of which is anyone’s guess given what he’s doing right now).
Nope, not in this state and I would not try it in this town.
You guys can ride with me anytime.
And the sex of the person who typically drives too slow in the left hand lane and never pulls over is...?
Speed doesn’t kill. Speed differences do, however. You are safest staying close to the median speed for that road, regardless of what the posted limit is.
But why if you are not behind someone?
It is useful to understand the psychology afoot in drivers' behavior. For the inadequate personality, "moving over" feels like submission to someone else's will. As a defense the slow left-laner stubbornly refuses to submit, mumbling autistically to himself that he, by god, has a right to drive 55 mph in the left lane if he wants to. Much road rage springs from similar projections and imagined putdowns by generally oblivious strangers. As always, it is the loser who takes it as a personal affront when someone else just happens to want to pass.
Time to get that 335 so that doesn’t happen.
You doing okay?
>>Nope, not in this state and I would not try it in this town.
LOL! You’ve got that right.
“Try” is the key word in that statement. And I really dislike payments, and have a perfectly good, paid-for, ubersedan.
3rd gear is just marvelous. I downshift twice from 5th, it pulls hard from 60-90, leaving the LLBs wondering just WTF hit them.
I’m good, life is better than I deserve. You and yours?
Can’t complain I guess. The poor Camaro is starting to show its age (esp after an old lady t-boned me and then I hit a deer) so he may just retire to the track. Wife is shopping one of the new 328 bimmers. Me, a used Vette or leftover GTO.
Looked at the SRT8s, or are you too much of a GM man?
A buddy has a 300C SRT, it’s pretty sweet. I don’t like the low froont roofline and the visibility issues it creates. I wish they made an SRT8 Magnum with a nice interior.
The upcoming Pontiac (Holden) G8s look interesting.
