Also, I didn’t even realize that a sun (which has to be massive evidently) would collapse into a black hole, I thought the black hole came near it and pulled it in.
The whole black hole thing happens with a super massive body, but most of the “artist renditions” that you see with a black hole orbiting another star comes about from either theory or observations that most supermassive stars are part of a binary or trinary system, and the black hole is just eating up one of the companion stars. Or they may think that the astronomically high chances of a black hole randomly wandering near enough to a star could cause that, but what are the chances of that, really?
