"`(a) Public Interest Obligation to Cover Publicly Important Issues- A broadcast licensee shall afford reasonable opportunity for the discussion of conflicting views on issues of public importance. The enforcement and application of the requirement imposed by this subsection shall be consistent with the rules and policies of the Commission in effect on January 1, 1987.'." Since broadcasters like Limbaugh and Hannity frequently put callers on the air who disagree with them, I'd like to see what would happen if someone tried to enforce this. Maybe Mark levin would have to do the 'Liberal Mark Levin' show once a week.
NPR, on the other hand, might actually get called on the carpet for being an endless, taxpayer funded source of liberal bs.

Not really...it all depends on who is the judge....and who picks the judges....
Just an underhanded way to silence conservative talk radio.....since few electively listen to liberal talk radio...
