GW’s “drawl” is just the way we talk.

He grew up in far west Texas, where the accent is more western tang than that of the east Texas drawl. He didn’t go back east for school till he was past childhood. He talks like I do, and like many other people I know.

You may not like W, but he is authentic. You gonna slam Laura for her accent, too?

I'm not slamming the accent. I expect Laura to have an accent because she was born and raised in West Texas. GW moved there and then went to school in Conneticut.

Jeb should have the same accent and Jeb was born in Midland. GW talks like he is from west Texas, but there isn't really a reason why he should have that accent.

I've always wondered if he purposely adopted the accent for political purprosed.
