Some of them are American citizens, some of them are legal alien residents, and some of them are illegal aliens.

Yet they formed a cell to terrorize Americans in the name of Jihad, so that is their common denominator. Most of the wire exerpts on this thread keep focusing on their alien or illegal status. They did not sneak across our borders, but either are citizens or residents OR are in violation of our current immigration laws.

President Bush is not ICE. He is not to blame for everyone here who is doing something wrong to threaten American. He is WRONG about the border issue, although we do need some kind of official worker program but not his details. Anyway, in so many ways he has stood tall to protect us in this WOT.

But this thread is loaded with people who bash and bash and bash this man. I’m sick of it. I don’t know you and whether you’re of that mind or not. What on earth is going to become of us if we play into our enemies’ hands by accusing our President of every blankety blank thing in the book?

And I include the Dems and Media and Newsweek pollsters in “our enemies”.

I haven't seen too much Bush bashing on this thread. I think most people realize President Bush's efforts on the War on Terror, such as the Patriot Act, help keep America safe from these types of attacks.

Sadly many Americans will not "dodge a bullet" as Fort Dix did today as more Americans are killed by illegal alien crime than by terrorism in Iraq.

I am not of that mind. This has been a problem long before Bush got here. I do not understand how so many of these people are known to be roaming around with no legitimate purpose of being here. My nephew was engaged to this girl from the UK (an elementary school teacher) and she had to follow all these rules. It was very difficult for her. I just don’t get it. But no, I don’t think this is Bush’s fault. A lot of those congress critters have been up there for decades, mostly the ones always pointing fingers.

I don’t bash the President. I understand he has hard choices to make. But on the other hand I seriously wish he would not invite anymore Saudi students here or take in displaced Iraqi’s here either. I wish he would have some border control too. I think we are far too nice to the Muslims, by adapting to them instead of them adapting to us... If thats bashing then I am guilty but in my eyes its just plain old common sense and my personal opinion. ~P~
