Yes...I just was discussing it with my daughter on Yahoo messenger. She saw the “pizza delivery” plan on the news. I haven’t seen it yet. I could see how that would have worked. I just couldn’t understand how they could have “stormed” the entrance/entrances without being shot.
I don’t see how either. In the bases I have lived on following 9/11, they have installed even more security features, as well. If someone were to manage to get past the guards without being stopped, there are stops that have been installed to prevent whoever it is from getting any further. It’s not like our military hasn’t considered that someone may try to storm a gate. I don’t know about Army bases (when we were at Ft. Sill for training, it was pre-9/11, and there was NO security at the entrances at all), but the USMC still uses Marines at their gates, and plenty of them.
