The book predicted that "in the 1970s and 1980s hundreds of millions of people will starve to death", that nothing can be done to avoid mass famine greater than any in the history, and radical action is needed to limit the overpopulation. The predictions not only did not come true, the world developed in a direction completely opposite to the one predicted by Ehrlich, without implementing any of his proposed measures.
What draconian measures do you recommend to defuse this "population bomb"? Forced sterilization? Strict limits on muslim birth rate? A competition to see who can have the most babies?
