YouTube has apparently posted a racist video using Rush's audio spoof "Barak The Magic Negro." Rush just said "Take It Down Now!!! Let's see what happens now.
I think Rush complained about the CBS TV station that used the Youtube video. The station’s story made it appear as though Rush had something to do with the video portion instead of just the soundtrack.
He wasn’t demanding that YouTube take it off, he was demanding the KOVR Ch. 13 in Sacramento take it off their website. He’s SLAMMING them hard today from what I heard of his show (2nd hour).
Thanks Tom. I’m so computer illerate that I struggle just to maneuver around FR.
Freep this poll [Is Rush Limbaugh's "Barack The Magic Negro" song racist?]
Tell the liberals at CBS 13 in Sacramento to get it RIGHT and stop attacking Rush, when they should be attacking the leftwing racists at the LA Times....
it’s not there. is that a bad link, or can Rush get it down that fast?
Lots of Freepers must have already voted.
Is the song racist? 4% yes; 96% no.
Apparently. It's completely gone.
There are a bunch of copies of it uploaded to Youtube. Just search for “magic negro”
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=magic+negro
With titles like:
Racist Rush Limbaugh
02:13
“here is a clip of Rush Limbaugh with his (sic) clip “Barack the magic negro””
The DNC Brownshirts are continuing their tactics of deliberately lying to the masses.
Apparently. It's completely gone.
I have a Youtube account and I just viewed it with no problem. Big whoop, I wouldn’t waste my time with it.
I understand Rush’s insistance, but I also do not find the video objectionable.
What was racist about it? Shanklin’s song and pictures of Obama and Sharpton. What’s he compaining about?
I guess one has to put on the “liberal” thinker cap and try to deduce the “actual” meaning behind the video. The only thing I saw was where Obama was dressed up in Senator Byrd’s KKK outfit.
Yep! I’ll bet that’s what it is .. and taken out of context.
I’ve never seen Rush so upset - and I’d get the video down if I was them!
Rush is very possessive of his Paul Shanklin (sp?) pieces. Notice that when he plays them, he almost always speaks over them (in my opinion, to keep people from recording them). As well he should, I’m sure he pays a pretty penny for them.
