I can’t see why so Freepers care about this. Sorry.

Because socialism is our enemy, here and abroad. It's always encouraging to see socialists take it in the shorts, if nothing else for the entertainment value of seeing their outrage at being put out of power. You can bet they're raising hell about this over at DU. I may even work up the stomach to go take a look.

Here is a DUmp link for the main discussion about these results. Not surprisingly there is a big contingent of those crying election fraud. Funny how they didn't do that when Chavez won, or when the Dems won last November...it's only rigged if the lib/Dem loses.

NapkinUser, let me just say first that I find your manners and etiquette (damn french word) very nice. I usually just use my sleeve.

I've been to France against my own will. I at least give the French credit for one thing...they call their left wing candidates what they are...Socialists. Did you see what Royal advocates? As a typical Socialist she wants to spend money France doesn't have to solve every social ill. Even left wing Keynesian Economists in Europe know she is just promising the world in order to garner power with no chance in Hell that she can deliver solutions to the sheeple's problems through government.
