I agree. It sounds like another Democrat attempt to snuff-out free talk radio-— now that they control Congress.
The real target has ALWAYS been Limbaugh....the DUmocrats will sacrifice one of their own if they can make the same “racism” lie to stick to Rush.
I agree, but those light-in-the-loafers watchdogs at Media Matters are delusional if they really think they're going to take Limbaugh down.
Imus may have had a long history in the business, but lately he was a tiny fish who was a virtual nonentity outside of New York and the Beltway; it was easy for sponsors to abandon him. Rush is still the big 800 pound gorilla.
My view is that Imus took himself down. Had he issued a simple, one-time apology to the team on the air, and then told everyone else to "get a life", he would have been ignored.
The fact that he went on the air, endlessly groveling to anyone who would hear his new grovel, did him in. The media smelled blood in the water, and went in for the kill. No blood, no kill.
