You're right. I've thought the same thing. I won't fault them though for not having intervened in that particular election. It's a pretty personal thing. But she has grown more bold about asserting her position in a thoughtful way, sensitive to those who suffer dire illness but never backing down from the anti-cloning and anti-embryonic position they've taken.
