Hunter got a silly softball question (”Are you a compassionate conservative”) when there were more important things to discuss.
His answer. “Yes. And now I will use the rest of my time to discuss an important issue.... Iran....”*
The question was stupid. The answer was important, IMO.

That was a bit unsettling for me, but he didn’t spend any time deliberating as to why; he’s nowhere near as ‘compassionate’ (thank goodness) as GWB, and I thought it was clever that he spent the rest of his given time on Iran.
