That depends on what you are running for. In Mitt's case, to get the GOP presidential nomination, it is an absolute must.

I wish. It has always been so in the past. But Rudy seems to be challenging the party's view head-on this time. The soul of the Republican Party is up for grabs.

Jim Robinson is right. If Rudy wins, it will destroy whatever is left of the GOP and with it, any systematic resistance to totalitarianism.
