Moving on...

It's disappointing that former state Sen. Nancy Argenziano's legislative obituary, as chronicled in newspapers around the state recently, was highlighted by the manure she once sent a lobbyist. That now infamous bow-topped, 25-pound box of cow dung is part of the Florida Legislature's lore, as well as the Argenziano legend in Tallahassee, and her delivering it might best capture, for better or worse, the colorful Dunnellon Republican's brash, blunt-spoken and often combative soul.

~Snip~

She battled phone companies and voted against record-setting rate hikes, and opposed efforts to shift funds for Alzheimer's care and prescription drugs for the elderly; she was critical of Gov. Jeb Bush's privatization efforts and successfully fought for a law that requires greater legislative oversight of such contracts; she helped defeat the state's attempt to interfere in the Terri Schiavo controversy; she joined a handful of GOP senators in torpedoing two of Bush's key education initiatives, vouchers and repealing the classroom-size amendment.

A rebel, with causes, moves on

Wagglebee thread on Mitt Romney...

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says he's getting tired of the questions about his shift a few years ago from supporting to opposing abortion. In a television interview last night, he said he wouldn't be barraged with so many questions if he had switched from pro-life to pro-abortion.

The comments came during a Monday night interview on the Fox News Channel program "Hannity and Colmes."

Romney has frequently explained how he became pro-life a few years ago after having to deal with the issue of embryonic stem cell research as governor -- after campaigning as a pro-abortion candidate on previous occasions.

Nancy Argenziano killed Terri.

And on a lighter note, presidential candidate MITT ROMNEY's favorite novel is Battleship Earth by L. Ron Hubbard. (basis of scientology religion). Mitt's getting lots of donations from Clearwater and Hollyweird I bet...He' pandering to Greer's best friends. Scientologists believe disabled people have no rights, only healthy people. It's like the T-4 program.
