Dunno what the feud is about. It can hardly be about a pardon for those two agents, or the larger question of securing the national borders. That is a power of any government. Conservative core values are not directly at issue.

However, our core values do have something far more important to say about all this. If we want free trade and open borders, we first have to kill the welfare state. All of it! When immigrants come here for liberty and work instead of being moochers attracted to countless tax-paid benefits, we can welcome them in any number. The Statue of Liberty could lift her lamp again.

Interesting step, though, by Duncan Hunter. Dana Rohrabacher wanted the Prez. to pardon the agents, too. He pressed, but nobody listened, so far.
