It horrifies me that Chris Matthews will step foot in this Library. It is a very, very special place.

I’m not thrilled about him being there either. I would prefer Brit Hume! I hope all the candidates are wearing Raincoats! Chris Matthews is a spitter!

It really astounds me that the GOP did not require at least a neutral, not a hostile moderator. Showing again, what spineless gimps the national party has become.

Chris Matthews was magnificent during his MSNBC coverage of the Reagan funeral events, FWIW.

Can we hope she jumps up to call BS when Giuliani or McCain start spouting liberal nonsense?

Nancy would probably agree with it. She was not a Reaganite, and I’m sure isn’t one now.

Don’t be horrified...maybe some of the goodness of Ronnie will rub off on him. The only thing I worry about is that he may get some spittle on the beautiful floors.
To: pissant
AMEN. You said it. See? How does this kind of thing happen? It SHOULD have been someone neutral but there ya go....I just don’t get it and I just don’t care anymore. We just keep getting our heads stomped further and further into the ground. Have to give it to the dems...they DO stick together.

I actually don’t see what’s wrong with his question.

It wasn’t a question. It was a mock.

Yes, but “Rocky” was mocking on a factual basis. In the White House, Mrs. Reagan did use an astrologer. Why this question was censored is beyond me. Much worse has been allowed against FReepers on other threads, despite complaints of abuse.

Not wise for a brand new newbie to mock Reagans wife. Get your feet wet first if you want to hurl insults.
