Trust in Him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us.
You are the One who keeps Your covenant and loving kindness with those who love You and with those who obey Your commandments. Hear our prayers this day, Great God, as we come to You on behalf of our nation and its leaders. We confess that we have sinned and committed iniquity; we have been wicked and have rebelled, even turning away from Your commandments and from Your judgments. We ask You to forgive us of the sins of this nation and set us on a right course once again. Send forth Your Holy Spirit to revive us, Father, that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, our God.
Father, we commit to You the unborn children of this nation who are presently in the wombs of their mothers. Thank You for the precious gifts of life You have created. We plead with You to help us protect these lives. We pray that You would cover these precious babies with Your love and that You would bless these children with a supernatural awareness of You and your presence. Create in these mothers and fathers a love for their babies that will overcome any desires of the devil to convince them to abort. Dispel the lies of Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and other pro-choice groups that exist to kill Your precious innocents. Continue to move us away from the culture of death in this nation, Mighty God. Let the word, "Choice" become a bitter and disgusting term that nauseates Americans. Help all of us to acknowledge and respect You as our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.
May Your loving arms surround our President today Father and be his hiding place. Bless him with patience and wisdom as he goes about his service to You and to this nation. Bless him with time alone with You in which he can receive the enlightenment of Your Spirit and Your Word. Bless him through his loving wife and family. Guide him in all his decisions and strengthen his desire to please you. Let his trust, his confidence, and his hope be in You. We ask that You would give him wise counsel regarding Your will for Israel and for Iraq. Let his decisions be guided and directed solely by You. Shield him from all of his enemies, Lord, and let him never come out from under the umbrella of Your protection.
Protect our brave troops, Father, and let them know of Your faithful love for them. Help them to know also that they are not forgotten and that the gratitude of our nation is with them. Establish the governments of Afghanistan and Iraq securely and make ready the way for the Gospel to be shared in these dry and thirsty lands.
Father, You have called us to live in the light of Your truths and to carry that light with us. Let our light not be hidden but brought forth so that it shines before all people, that praise and glory may be brought to You, our Father in heaven. We present these prayers before Your Holy Throne of grace, in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

I am joining you today - and I have never seen a person anywhere go through the genuine garbage that President Bush goes through with the grace and wisdom and decency that he displays. God must surely be with him.
Prayers up for our courageous and visionary President!!
I thank You for every blessing You have bestowed on this nation and Your children. Open the eyes of every person to see each of those blessings. May this country experience a revival like has never been seen before. I pray that our eyes would be opened to our sins; that we would experience personal conviction and turn to You and be forgiven. Let us each stop and realize that even while we sinned, You continued to bless us. May we be so overwhelmed by Your loving kindness and patience that we spread the word of Your great mercy and grace to everyone around us.
Father, help President Bush through this trying time. I pray he finds wisdom and comfort in You alone. Give him all that he needs to fulfill the purpose You have for his life.
Lord, stop the hatred and lies directed at him. Vindicate him Oh Lord. Let the truth come forth that no one can deny. Stop the lies, cruel words and hateful actions against him.
Give him your peace and lead him to Your sheltering arms.
Lord, turn things around for him and all Your people who have been maligned because of Your name. We know one day all will know the truth, I pray You allow that to happen soon.
Lord, be with our troops, guiding them, protecting them and loving them. May they feel Your peace and presence when facing the hardships of battle. Give them and there leaders insight, wisdom and discernment to win this war. I pray we see such a turnaround to the positive in this war, that the media is forced to report it.
I also lift up the media to You. I pray You work in each heart, convicting anyone who is using the pen to harm the president, the troops or Your namesakes. Lord, let all people see though any lies or twisting of facts by the media. May they print the facts and only tell the truth.

I have thought many times that there is no greater evidence that the Lord rules GW's heart than his daily responses to those who spew forth venom toward him. He has turned the other cheek so many times he must have chronic whiplash. Good for GW. He is faithful and obedient to the teaching of his Lord. His enemies would much prefer that he descend to their level and roll in the dirt with them. But because he won't, they hate him all the more. May the Lord reward him for doing as Jesus would do. He is a powerful example for all of us.

Father, may the light and truth of Your Word have free course in our nation so that darkness may be dispelled. We pray the Lord of the Harvest to send forth laborers. Holy Spirit, convict concerning righteousness by Your great grace and mercy.
