Our late friend Larry McDonald often told us that most congressional offices usually consign those multi-page, intelligently written letters from voters to File 13.
The correspondence that REALLY got their attention was the crumpled brown lunch bag with a 10 or 12 word note scribbled on it in magic marker as the guy who wrote that one was REALLY PISSED and couldn’t wait to get home before getting it off his chest.
Since I didn’t have a brown lunch bag, I used the next best thing.
