Well, here's my guess.
Sean - like most of us - answers to someone. In his case, that someone is Rupert Murdoch.
Methinks Murdoch, imaging the Post doubling circulation and Fox News ratings exploding daily with a Rudy-Beast Big Apple heavyweight bout, has put out marching orders to his minions (including both Sean and the Toe Sucker) to make it so.
It's interesting - just as it took the 'Rats years to come to terms with the loss of their media monopoly, the GOP media elite can't understand why us uneducated, easily led social conservative redneck hicks (per the WashPost) won't just vote for who we are told.
