Tenet is a symptom of a serious disease that afflicted George Bush from the moment he was inaugurated: the Let’s All Get Along virus. It meant he kept Clinton appointees throughout the Federal government, including Tenet. They should have been shown the door the moment Bush took office. The crushing burden due to this oversight has been staggering, and as Tenet shows: it continues.

> Saddam regime did not produce the final Chemical Weapons products but was producing and researching the ingredients called Chemical Precursors required to make the final Chemical Weapons.

An opportunity lost, perhaps. Instead of bursting into print about capturing Saddam in his spider hole, it may have been opportune to waterboard him first and ask nicely what he did with the WMD, where they are, and who currently has them. For there is no doubt that he had the technology and was quite happy to use it. He didn’t seem the sort to turn it over or destroy it: it clearly went somewhere and it is important to know WHERE.

Didn't the Iraqi Air Force flying to Iran the first time in the Persian Gulf War in 1991? There were enough reports of Russians flying in Iraq weeks before the war started, and reports of convoys going to Syria. Maybe showing the intelligence would compromise future intelligence efforts?

So are these WMD in Syria? (sounds likely and would make sense). In which case, there is a whole lot of Unfinished Business that needs to be done. The Allies probably have 10+ years yet to do in the Middle East: finish with Iraq, finish with Afghanistan, and then either tap Syria or Iran on the head real hard, then do the other one — yer pick with one is the bigger threat.

Then there remains the Saudi Arabia issue. The Terrorists of 9/11 came from there originally. Some folk might suggest that there is no reason aside from good manners why Mecca and Medina have not yet been paved over with radioactive glass. I’d like to think the whole question is wide open to negotiation. The House of Saud are pragmatic folk after all, and they generally try to do the right thing.

There then remains the twin issues of Indonesia and parts of the Philippines. Unpleasant hot-beds for Islamic terrorism, both.

People who think this WOT is a simple matter haven’t thought it thru. It is a HUGE problem, probably bigger in scope than WW-II. And probably every bit as important for the Good Guys to win.

Not enough Good Guys, the Home Front wants to collapse and quit, and maybe not enough time.

All of Western Civilization needs to put their shoulders to the wheel on the WOT — America can do the most because you lot have the scale and wealth to do so, but the rest of our Western Democracies should be into this boots and all.

Otherwise get used to BOHICA in the general direction of the East, with some dude speaking a foreign language from a Minaret calling the shots.

The WOT is *that* serious.

Yet, somehow, the Mainstream Media and a large number of the potential Good Guys just don’t seem to get it.

Depressing...

Shhhhhhhhhh - don't tell anyone!
That's the only thing that I think could really describe what's going on with this WMD. We know where the weapons are, we got their latitudes/longitudes of their storage locations and when time comes we do what we need to do.

I agree the material is important, but the skilled workers are far more important.
I read somewhere that the first nuclear devise - its not a weapon yet - is developed by scientists; the second by engineers; the third is assembled by skilled technicians; and finally the fourth by assembly line workers.

“Tenet was bought with money or threats, perhaps both. Or maybe he has just been a lefty moe all along.”

Tenet like most of the CIA upper maggots has been a lefty all along. Most of the maggots have been bought by money, and controlled by the FBI files that $inator Clintoon has in her possession.

I wonder if those FBI files has enough to black mail her way back to the White House? Get in her way and the machine will destroy you.

Thanks for the comments. Each time in the past when a mole was uncovered or a KGB file revealed exposing spies in our government I wonder how many more are there. Reading books about the Wilson, Roosevelt and Truman administrations surprised me as to the level of influence they were able to achieve. I suspect the Carter and Clinton administrations were even worse.

And, as we said, I don’t think it is political philosophy that drives it, just basic human nature and greed.

Today’s rats in power and seeking power are students of the elite German Fascists who controlled Germany before we killed most of them.

They are very greedy, and I think most of them hate America, conservatives and our capitalist system.

I hate when people waste time to explaining typos but here i am ...

Was originally went with a singular noun and when I changed that noun to the pronoun "they" I failed to keep pace with the change. The result was so bad I had to explain.
