Although it is occasionally threatened by brush fires, Pepperdine is situated in the Pacific Palisades (the end of the Santa Monica mountains as they meet the ocean), and surely has one of the most beautiful university campuses in the country, with a spectacular view of the Pacific.

I got certified for diving in the Pepperdine pool! I used to live just a bit south from it...right on PCH! (psst. I love San Diego much better!)
