On the House side, the Associated Press reported this past Monday that “House Democratic leaders are working with the National Rifle Association to bolster existing laws blocking” certain prohibited persons from buying guns.

The NRA has been in the middle of this from the start. I think they have been working on part of the bill that would keep people who had minor mental problems from losing their Rights.
Make no mistake. The gun owners are going to see a law where real nutcases are going to be in the background checks. Here’s hoping the way the bill is written, Viet Nam Vets won’t lose their Rights because they visited a shrink.

The fun thing is most of the shrink’s patients are probably dems. Liberalism is a mental disease, after all.

Are they singled out by name?

How many mildly disturbed people who might get a lot worse will not seek help because they don't want to lose their 2nd A. rights?

Can the disturbed have the other 9 taken too?

If the NRA supports this type of action then I will have to revisit my membership.

people visit shrinks because they have eating disorders, are afraid to fly,or wash their hands 800 times a day-i don’t think they will be denied gun ownership-i believe the NRA will make sure it only applies to dangerous psychotics who have been found dangerous by a court after due process-i am a no compromise gun rights advocate but paranoid schizophrenics with violent tendencies shouldn’t be armed, likewise illegal aliens and convicted felons-schumer better not try to tack on extras-if he ate some bad dog food it wouldn’t cause me to shed a tear-mccarthy is an idiot who acts like she’s the only person in this country who had a relative murdered-the european trash media has been making remarks about our gun culture-how about the fact that the euro-pigs have been arming the third world for decades and making obscene profits at it?that’s how they can afford smelly cheese and kiddie porn and all the other wonderful stuff in their degenerate societies-now is the time to get all the ammo you can-5.56mm amd .308 are becoming scarce due to military demand-i hear that even 7.62x39 is going to rise in price soon

Of course it will be written in such a manor that it can be enforced that way.

Before long if you see a marriage counselor, before your marriage gets really on the rocks, perhaps through your church or through the program that many employers have, it will be bye bye RKBA, for both spouses.

But if you are a Jihadi going to your mosque for instructions on how to commit mass murder, the government will have to keep its hands off, separation of Church and State don't ya know.

Most of us can still read and understand the Constitution. I remember my oath.
