Why didn’t some of the students rush Cho?

With paper airplanes and spitballs right?

They did charge him. He gunned them down.

Actually, I’ve heard that the positioning of some of the bodies show they did try to rush Cho. They just didn’t make it.

Lead with a few books, desks, chairs, etc and then charge him.

It’s sad that these kids probably had no idea of what to do. When the few did charge everyone else stood there and wasted their sacrafice.

No, with books, better yet backpacks full of books, desks, and anything else handy.

Students in a Ft. Worth exurb were instructed to do just that after Columbine, then rush the threat. He can't shoot everyone.

That said, the action in any one classroom was over very quickly, not allowing for any time to organize or to collect oneself to take action.

Unlike the folks on flight 93 who knew they would die if they did not take action, and probably would if they did, the people at VA Tech didn't really have time to realize that they were going to be shot whether they counterattacked the threat or not
