Rawbone, from my college playing days when they used to refer to me in the local paper as “the big raw-boned Tight End from Ventura” and my teammates gave me plenty of sh*t for it!

My girlfriends liked it, and used the nickname in a different way.

I’ve had several over the years, and when I get an email or phone call and someone starts off saying “Hi (nickname)” I know where I knew them from. Tet (from last name), Ernie(My three sons look alike), Tater (last name), Bear (big and bearded), and Dentist (work, here, from my name again).

My nickname is Muffie. When I was 2 and my brother was 3 he could not say Martha, it came out something like Muffie and it stuck to me.

My grandfather became known to everyone as "Boppie" because that's how my cousin pronounced grandpa when she was first learning to talk.
