I said what I’m about to say in the long thread, I’ll repeat it here, I don’t know that these people who are causing such ca-ca here are out-and-out liberals in their heart of hearts as Giuliani is, I’ve conversed with some of them in the past and got no indication of that. I think the reason they’re so bent out of shape here is, as I said, there is a such a sense of fear out there at the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency to where it’s like some people are saying “OHMIGOD, WE’VE GOT TO NOMINATE SOMEONE, EVEN IF IT’S FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER, WHO ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE PLANET CAN BEAT HILLARY!” And they’re convinced Giuliani is it. Also, I think Islamic terrorism is such a concern for some people ... and please everybody, save your flames, I’m not making light of that threat in any shape, form or fashion ... to where it’s their No. 1 issue above everything else in this or any known solar system, and again they’re convinced Giuliani is the man to lead that war.
It is, IMO, an irrational fear. And it doers not justify their persecution of others who see Rudy as another Hillary type RINO.
...theyre convinced Giuliani is the man to lead that war.
He has less military experience than most of the other candidates. He was on his way out when 9/11 occurred, leaving office 3 1/2 months later.
Now 6 + years later, after being on the lecture circuit and making millions talking about it, we're supposed to ignore his record, pretend he's not a liberal, and jump on the bandwagon?
Is it any wonder the emotions have gotten out of control? All of their thinking appears to be made emotionally, with little regard to logic.
