“Sacrifice” is jumping on a grenade or staying behind so others can make it out.....”Sacrifice” is an act of Will and Brotherhood. War is hell. War is dirty. People die. A very few Sacrifice themselves ONLY so that others may survive. This is a very big word that gets misused. It greatly exceeds Brave or Heroic.
