Some idiot leftist Dem Senator from New York suggested much the same thing but wanted a special “tax” on bullets. I can’t remember the guy’s name, but I think it sounded Irish. Daniel Patrick Moynahan, Johnson liberal and drunkard. He wanted to put a 10,000% tax on ammunition.
