“Pro gun control and pro abortion stance does it for me
not getting my vote.”
It drives me crazy that we have to sit helplessly by and watch this leftist win the Republican nomination.
How does one organize a grassroots mutiny?

“If we could survive Carter and Bubba, we can survive Hillary.”
Really? Well, just how many disasters *can* we survive? There has to be a limit, and it feels to me like we’re approaching it.

"It's based on an irrational fear of something different, something strange, that somehow they're going to take something away from us," he said. "A lot of it is just undifferentiated fear of foreigners, of people who appear to have different values or different ways of doing things." No, Rudy, it is not. It is the fear of becoming Mexico or any third world country with only the social strata of the wealthy and the slave caste. It is the fear of having to watch the middle class disappear, the backbone of this country. It is the fear of taking on vast numbers of people who don't believe in ANYTHING this country stands for. It is the fear of having Americans once more accept near-slavery as something useful or helpful to the economy.
Spend a week in the SoCal suburbs and cities, Rudy.

Honestly, I don't think Hillary has a chance. Her connection with Clinton corruption is just too ingrained in the populace; she'd probably be just as divisive to the Dems as Rudy would be to conservatives.

Why doesnt this guy just jump to the Demnut side and be done with it?
I think the grassroots mutiny will happen on its own. No self-respecting conservative would indorse this guy.

“Civil War, Pt. II? “
More likely the death of the thousand cuts, as the left deprives us of our ability to defend ourselves as a country and a culture.

Once again taking sharp exception with the dominant conservative wing of his own party Why is he doing it? I mean, even if he feels that way, is this a smart strategy?

A person could probably get bounced off FR for quoting from that routine.
However, unlike real lepers, moral lepers represent a danger to our Republic.

I'm not defending Fred Thompson. However, a lot of 'R's have taken moderate positions on this issue in the past when they thought it good politics, or, at least, politics that would get them votes. Today, after a flood of illegals (30 million according to the last I read), this is clearly no longer the case. The problem is that 'R' don't have the guts or have sold out to business interests and the RATs are simply supporting the loss of our nation for new slave on their plantation. Any candidate that plays that game, today, is beyond the pale. We face a lot of crisis today and leaders that won't lead, play to numbers or sit on the fence are reprehensible, if not treasonous.

Rudy Giuliani has made too many flip flops during his years in politics for my likeing and I don’t think his stands on illegal immigration and the Second Amendment are going to help me vote for him at all.

One thing about leftists that you can depend upon is that they overestimate by orders of magnitude the percentage of the population that agrees with them on any given issue.
He probably things there are just a few noisy conservatives, and most Republicans really agree with him.

I held my nose and voted for Bush, but I just can’t control my gag reflex on this one.
