I’m all for keeping contact with friends, just like you.
But I would find it a difficult choice hang with friends that frequent a site that bashes other friends on a different site.
And I would tell them so.
You may not be of that mindset, and from everything that you’ve posted so far, I believe that to be the case, but some of your new ‘future’ friends are. So my skepticism may be understandable. Maybe not.

It might very well happen. But that would then fall under the first part of my original statement which is: it’s NOYB.
And I generally don’t get between friends that are in disagreement. That’s why you won’t hear me saying much about individual bannings.
What you will hear me say is things that are in line with the post I repeated from HairOfTheDog. It’s sad, silly and asinine that it has come to all this. And even though I understand that folks may feel very strongly about one issue or another, to defend the rudeness and childish behavior as somehow “returning to conservative principles” is absolutely ridiculous.
You can be passionate and firm in your beliefs without being a horse’s rear end.
