“You’re going to have to do better than to keep claiming that “real conservatism” could have won in 2006. I wish it were otherwise, but I won’t fool myself.”

So what is your plan for getting the middle roaders and indies back. They are hopelessly indoctrinated with liberal megaphones of the educators and media, constantly.

I’m sure that if the conservatives give up and vote for Giuliani that would be detrimental in the long run to conservatism. That seems clear to me.

If Rudy does win, and he does for DC what he did for NYC -- where does that leave FR?

This is a line in the sand being drawn here. Ya'll are betting all or nothing on Rudy being a demon.

I don't see what you see. I see Rudy as a social liberal, political conservative. He could end up being a great conservative president.

And I wonder, if that happens, what does that do to the credibility of all those here?
