That is BS and you would know it if you ever read anything in these threads except what the Rooty Tooters post.
Rooty has never been for the flat tax and he isn’t now.
You recently picked up Steve Forbes, who is a flat-tax advocate, as an adviser. Do you also support a flat tax?
Rudy: I support simplifying the tax code. I think of the flat tax as theoretically a very good solution—and probably what we should have done when we first started the income tax. These days it would be unrealistic to go all the way to a flat tax. But you can use it as a guide to figure out how you're going to simplify taxes.
Thanks for noting it Beagle8U, this was a case where I had fallen for the pro-rudy postings and thought Rudy had endorsed the flat tax. I don't know why I keep making that mistake.
