The Republican party has been moving to the center/left for some time now. It’s not me who hijacked it and I don’t like it and have said so.

Apparently fiscal conservativism and law and order conservatism don’t mean a darned thing and social conservatism is all the rage now and if one thinks that national security trumps all (like I do), then one isn’t a true blue conservative. Gosh, the things we can learn on Free Republic.

No, social conservatism isn't just the rage today. It's been there all along but because we have these so-called Republicans that think conforming to political correctness is the correct thing to do social conservatives have been pushed aside. Doesn't protecting future generations from the War on the Unborn count for anything? Isn't it self serving to claim to be "tough on terror" when you support the "pro-choice" movement. Isn't it hypocritial to say you're "tough on terror" all the while you restrict the RTKBA and sue manufacturers of firearms. It is after all your first responsibility to protect your family and yourself. Isn't it hypocritical to say you're pro-family but yet denigrate marriage with "civil unions". I see nothing civil with homosexual relationships.

Take a good look at the Republican Party Platforms. See where Rudy fits in...I think you will find that he is more in line with the Democratic Party Platforms.

What good is defending this nation from terrorists if we continue to kill our unborn and forfeit our God given rights?

What has Rudy done to advance national security? What makes him experienced in national security? What is his foreign policy esperience? What is is military experience? In what way has he advanced the United States position in the world?

In what way has he strengthened support for the war on terror? How has he spent his time building up support for the War in Iraq?

Can you answer all of these questions? Can you answer ANY of these questions?

Rudy is “associated” with 9/11. He didn’t run away when the buildings collapsed. Well guess what — LOTS of people didn’t run away. Lots of people died doing their job, some because Rudy failed to take responsible steps as Mayor knowing that the WTC was the focal point for terrorism.

If you can’t answer any of those questions, answer this question — did Rudy ever make a speech denouncing Citgo for selling Venezuelan gas and supporting our enemies? Please point me to it.

If you can’t answer that question, just tell me — how many times has Rudy been to Iraq?

If he is really the best candidate for the war on terror, and you are a great supporter, you should be able to answer every one of these questions in a way that will convince us.
