To flesh out my response a bit more:
There are some who rationalize that we need to expand the “big tent” of the Republican party so it can hold all 3 rings and the freak show besides. We can’t let this happen.
The conservative movement is in danger of stalling, IMHO. How many more RINOS will it take to kill the party entirely? George Bush has proven to be a divider, not a uniter. He has divided the Republican party and has dang near destroyed it.
Nothing will fire up the Republicans like a true conservative nominee. Giuliani might be a natural born leader, but where he would lead us is no place good. We can’t settle for another liberal.
So who do you think will “unite” the party?
I saw a great “big tent” quote the other day. New people are welcome into the big tent, but they don’t get to tamper with the tent poles.
