It's an old baseball maxim for a pitcher to strike out the guy in front of him, and not worry about the guy on base. I know enough about baseball to know that is false. Wrong. Try another sport.

You perfectly get my point. No one can score if you strike out the batter in front of you. And we have an enemy who trumps ALL other issues right now. ALL of them.
